Day six of The Winter Writing Sanctuary with Beth Kempton brings us SILVER. Today is the full moon in cancer. The Wolf Moon (aka Ice Moon or Old Moon). It’s a time for making plans for change, clearing and shedding. But it’s cold outside, and I’d rather light the fire and curl up with a book.

Waiting for the wolf moon
to emerge from pink firmament
as constellations of starlings
run riot through the sky.
It’s a night for flame and embers,
sending secrets into the heavens
in sparks of ash and silver,
exploding into stars
to accompany the deep, icy blue.
The full moon has been so gorgeous this month! I've been watching it too. You're images are as clear as the bright moon in the frosty sky!!🌕
