I am guilty of thinking that I just don’t have enough time. But really, we all have time available, hidden amongst the chores and work and scrolling.
Sometimes it’s about consciously using it differently so we find time for the things we love, instead of putting them way down on the list because it feels indulgent, selfish or frivolous.
What would you do with more time?
And now, can you find that extra moment somewhere to make it happen?
Time
By Jane Galloway, Small Liberations
If I had more time
I’d gift some to you.
For I see no sense in being here,
with extra time,
without you.
We’d spend it by the sea.
Bathing in clear waters
and eating ripe pears
that drip down our fingers
when we bite into them.
And in the evening,
I’d nestle between the two warm bodies
of my once tiny babies.
Now, they cover me with their hugs,
where once I’d envelop them in mine.
If I had more time
I would spend it wisely, an investment,
but also frivolously.
Frittering it on long, boisterous family dinners
and endless evenings putting-the-world-to-rights with my girlfriends.
If I had more time.

Beautiful Jane ✨🧡
